A late afternoon at the River. A bit of work in PSP X2 to make this image presentable. I just don't care for that sky.

The thick growth of trees on the banks and that sky make this more than presentable, Ed. It is a beautiful image.

I think you would like that sky. Looks like some rain clouds might be gathering. Beautiful shot with the blues and greens Huck. I like the angle you chose.

It is a beautiful scene ... the shades of green contrasts perfectly, but I have to agree about the sky as the clouds to me look somewhat flat to me. Perhaps playing around with luminosity in the blending modes might correct the clouds somewhat, but I'm not sure that will do the trick. I do like the blueness of the sky though. The composition is spot on ... nice work Ed.

I see some irregularities in the clouds, and I'm not sure how that occurred, but the smudge tool, along with some cloning in some of the dark spots over the light spots, at a lower opacity would take care of it. Otherwise, a very nice, picturesque scene. Have fun, Ed. Don't you just love a challenge? LOL.

Very nice shot, it looks very warm, I can all most hear the crickets in the background. I love all the green colors and the water too. I do see what you are saying about the sky, but I wouldn't drive yourself crazy over it.
