I haven't seen a gator in a while, so that repellent must be working pretty good for you, Ed. They are probably waiting for it to wear off. I hope you have some left. LOL. Excellent lighting again in this shot. Do you have giants down there, too? It looks like one of them left their divining rod sticking in the bank. LOL. Have a good Memorial Day Weekend.

What do you wear for the the Insects ED?
I use Avon Skin So Soft. It keeps the Bugs off and makes my skin soft as a Babies Bottom. LOL! I'm NOT Kidding. My Skin is really SOFT!

Hard for me to believe this is called a River. The Drainage Ditch in front my House is Bigger than this. LOL. Though not quite as Beautiful.
Thanks for sharing your Journey through the Park.

Like to agree with Jimbob's comment above about the gators, Ed, lol, but don't let them surpise you.
Thanks for another fine capture my friend. The lighting is perfect!

I think it is a sling-shot but perhaps JimboB is right about the divining rod. Love the light and shadows in this one Huck.
How far are you from the flooding in Florida?
Good post.
Honor those "who gave all" this Memorial Day Weekend.

Another stunning capture Ed. Have to agree with Tick, where's the gator's, lol. But of course that's to shallow for them.

Beautiful capture

I like this diverse dark side of the river. As well as the angle of your composition along the shoreline. Hopefully the drought conditions are improved. Thank you for sharing it.

lol, I love your description... Sometimes I feel like I live on the dark side of the light side. And I can see that's where you were when you took this cool, refreshing, sun-dappled shot. I probably would have gotten lost in the forest and missed the river entirely. ;-))
