I found these Cattails on a walk about the lake between thunderstorms. Not a bird or critter was anywhere in sight. I guess they have enough sense to hide from the lightning. Unlike humans and the 15 head of Brahman cattle that got killed huddled together in a field the past week. I'm not so sure about this frame. L.M.K. what U think. Have a great rain free weekend.

Ed, I like the framing of this one, For some reason I like it better in the smaller size than bigger? What a shame about the cattle! I remember some years ago people were killed on the beach up in Michigan like a domino effect. Your cattail image is lovely my friend. ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ =^..^=

Without the frame the image would not have looked so good, Ed. This big old-fashioned frame has given it style. I like it.

Why having doubts Ed? Adding this frame has created a still life. Very inventive my friend.

Where in the world did you get that frame? I haven't seen anything like that until now. Pretty cool. Nice work, but I think the frame actually takes away from the picture.

Very Ornate Frame Ed.
Sort of Fancy for an Outdoor Capture.
Perhaps some sort of Dead or Drift wood frame would be better served here.
Mighty Fine Capture however... A Real Nature Scene.

Looks so peaceful ... love your framing too. Sorry to hear about the cattle ... you must of had some very bad storms. Nice work Ed.

Yikes! Fifteen head of cattle in one bolt of lightning... God must have been playing some sort of video game... poor things. For me I'd prefer a more solid frame rather than the textured look... but your photo is simple and so pretty...

A good shot, but I am sorry to say I am not at all sure about the frame. But then I have never been a fan of frames. I feel they take too much away for the photo. Lyn.

This caught my eye staight away with that lovely frame you have chosen. It sort of makes it and contrasts nicely with the greens and blues of the image. Well done!
