The same Heron I posted Yesterday after he went and straightened up his feathers a bit. I let him use my new feather brush. He was happy and wanted to pose for some more shots after that.

It's still alive Ed. Think the gator had a day off, lol.
Very good post again in this series.

You have a feather brush, too? Gollllllyyyy. I usually go prepared with a tube of Brylcream, just in case some of the feathers are stubborn and won't lay flat. LOL. Another neat shot of that heron, Ed.

Upon seeing this shot, I do belive it was Heron Goose bumps in the other shot! Nice capture Ed.

Herons are so much fun to watch ... love the look in it's eye as if he / she is getting ready to hunt / fish. I don't think it will be gator though. Excellent capture Ed.

You should have warned him Ed. He brushed so hard that some of his grey feathers have turned brownish - LOL. Great capture again with the subject in utter concentration (to see the slightest movement in the water).

I just spray some WD 40 and use Duct Tape if I have to Huck. I like it a backward part of the world. Good shot again and such unusual color. Those Indians at the fort must have taught you how to be quiet.
