A quick trip down to the river yesterday in this 98 degree heat. I spotted this Limpkin sitting in the shade. It looks like the only fall i'm going to see is if I trip over a Gator down here.
This is a fabulous shot, Ed. I love the soft colors and the reflections, not to mention the clarity, and the Crane like creature standing there. Beautiful work.
Marvelous capture Ed and don't fall in, that's that the type of fall you want. Anyway I don't remember if I've ever seen any of those down there. Really like the suttle colours and the one yellowish-orange plant. there's your fall.
Can still rembember very well that in the time I was a young schoolboy, the walls of the classrooms of our elementary school were decorated with a lot of large colour drawings made by a professional. They depicted wildlife and nature from all over the world. I was very impressed. When watching your wonderful image Ed, the past comes to my mind again. Your post is rather similar to one of the drawings. The major difference is that your image is not an artifical scene but reality. Think it won't amaze you that I have "Saved en Faved' this image. Thanks a lot my friend.
Regards, Cornelius.
If you trip over a Gator you will be more then Limpin' Huck. What a nice find and the reflections are really good. Nice to see water in your river. Have a good Sunday.
I love the angle of all the logs in the river framing the bird....Is it still 98 degrees down there? I am going to Daytona in late Oct hope it will be cooler, this is one of your best pictures I have seen Ed! Kudos to you my friend!
Wow what a awesome photo!! I not only love the reflection, but for you to get the 'bird' at the same time, how good is that!!!
Those wooden pieces coming out of the water is just the perfect thing for this whole setting. Bravo on this!! Verena
Whoa... 98 degree heat... in October... No wonder everything looks motionless, with only the bird moving... The reflections seem as still and unchanging as the weather. Good one.
