The first flower that i've seen on my hibiscus. I've had this plant a few years and it has never had any flowers untill now. Maybe it's a late bloomer!. Took this shot a few days ago and took THIS last July.

Perhaps all those insects that you have been showing us was the cause, Ed. This flower is a beauty and you have captured it very well.

Fabulous shot of that red foofy, and the leaves of the plant are especially nice looking. Good work, Ed.

I like the angle you got on this shot Ed. Very nice presentation of this beautiful bloom, coming bloom and the foliage.

Alhtough both images are wonderful, like to say that I prefer the recent one Ed. Colour makes a big difference, isn't it?
Wonderful post again!

Well, that's a relief! She is pretty too. Some things don't like to be rushed. On the other hand, I have a blue hydrangea that gave me a huge bloom (only one) about five years ago and hasn't bloomed since.

I am considered a never bloomer which is even worse then a late bloomer Huck. A great color. It must want something if it is blooming. I imagine it is wanting a double shot of Miracle Gro. Good F² post.
