When I went back to the Lake I actually got this rusty looking Duck to pose for me. Must be he spends to much time in the water. I've never seen a Duck get rusty before. Thanks to all for comments.

Must be an iron duck, Ed. Didn't we have in Europe already an 'Iron Lady'? lol.

Very fine post. Has a good chance to be the next centerfold in the 'Fowl Play' magazine.

Regards, Cornelius.

Ed, This is such a sweet capture and I'm partial to duckies, Of course this excellent capture will be in my faves. Such unique color this one has. Great job of capturing that cute poise.

"Rusty" is a female and so can be a contestant for the January issue of "Fowlplay". I like that colour and must say she looks great sitting there in the grass. Nice capture,Ed.

I don't see duck this color up here. I like it. He's kinda purdy. Nice shot, Ed.

A little WD-40 and he will be gliding through the water with ease Huck. Send him to the Wizard, he helped the Tin Man.
Good shot and unusual color for a duck. Looks like chicken markings. What's going on down there?

I noticed the duck has lovely brown eyes... maybe he dyed them to match his feathers... ;-) Great clarity on him too...
