This family seems to be quite at home at your place Ed. Very nice and clear shot, the colours are very good too.

Must have some damp ground for a whole family of them to grow. I wonder if they are edible...don't try it Ed, buy them at the store like I do

Don't try if they are edible Ed. A couple of days ago, in my country, a woman died after she had eaten some shrooms which were found by her in a nearby wood. She was known as a specialist in indifying shrooms, but she has made just one mistake by thinking that poisoned shrooms were edible as they were very similar to the edible species.
Fine post though.
Regards, Cornelius.

I hope a grapefruit doesn't fall on them Huck. Good shot and I am still smiling over Sea's remark. I know it is sad but it has such a sense of irony with the lady mushroom expert.

Such a sweet 'shroom family, Mama, Papa, and child...

Where we stayed in south Florida some years back there was a grapefruit tree... I loved it... just reach out your hand and pluck breakfast as you go by... ;-)
