I almost stepped on the odd looking Mushroom when I let the dogs out the other day. The colour and heart shape on the top caught my eye. --Thanks to all for comments--

This is definitely an alien plant. I have heard that UFOs have landed often in Florida! Thanks Ed for this great shot of a very unusual mushroom.
