Early morning at the river, another tricolored Heron and another cypress tree. This one actually got pretty close to me. - Thanks to all for comments -

Have never seen a heron approaching someone that close. Suppose you had some fresh fish with you Ed, lol.

It definitely has it's eye on dinner. Great capture of this heron, Ed. If OB wantw to make a dinner out of it, he better plan on having a lot of side dishes. LOL.

Wow, it looks like it got its head caught in a knothole and stretched it out. Excellent post Huck. I have never seen one in that particular pose.
