A lot of things which you post are unusual looking Ed - whether they are birds, worms or foofies. These are also strange to me but they are lovely and you have captured them very well.

A great F² post Huck. When we really don't understand what "foofy" is, there is no reason to know what kind of flowers are involved. Perfect.

Actually I think they are called "pinks" - at least that's what my grandma called them. Beautiful shot - great bright color as I look at the snow falling!

You've captured those dianthus gratianopolitanus ('Mountain Mist') very well, Ed. Kathy is right as they are called 'Pinks' as well.

They are called Dianthus or commonly referred to as 'pinks' as mentioned above. I love the bright pink color on these beauties. A lovely capture Ed ... wonderful detail too.
