I spotted this bush full of yellow flowers on my walk yesterday. There's not much blooming in this nasty weather.

They look like Curly Fries Huck. Happy New Year and a great, sunny, bright outlook you have given us to twenty ten.

Twenty ten sounds so futuristic to me. I must be stuck in the nineties. LOL. Gorgeous foofies, Ed. It's a great way to start the New Year. Nice post.

Happy New Year, Ed.
Thanks for this wonderful post too.
On the one hand amazing to me that these wonderful flowers are blooming this time of the year, but have, on the other hand, to realize as well that you're living in a sub tropical area.
Regards, Cornelius.

What truly tropical beauties. I absolutely love the centers!! How very unusual. Gosh, I will have to save this and hope someday to do a canvas painting of them. They are so worthy of that. If you'll allow me to do that. I'm so happy you took this photo too because it IS so unique. Only in Florida could these beauties grow. Can you find out their name? You got each and every detail! Fantastic. Verena

lol, I thought the same thing that Tick thought... they look like curly fries, only a whole lot prettier. Your clarity on these lovely little flowers is excellent and the fresh greens and yellows are lovely to behold...
