This trail was nice for about 100 yards then it turned to muck and fallen trees. I liked the shadows of the trees in this spot. >> Thanks to all for comments <<

Sure has a jungle type feel to it, and I like it. I would not want to walk through muck and over fallen trees though. I tried to do a walk last weekend, and I ended up sinking in mud, got the heck out of there. Lol! ♪ ♫ :)Sandi♪ =^..^=

What's the clearance under that big limb? Looks pretty low. That would be a great tree to climb for a kid. Excellent shot. Really good colors, light and shadows, and clarity. Well done, Ed.

That tree looks as old as you Huck. No wonder the buzzards were circling you. Great shot of a tree with lots of character. I think you are a character so something else in common again with the tree. You need to get some Muck boots. I have a pair.

I too like those amazing gnarly branches and light/shadows. Can imagine how dense it could become in a few months.

The tree branches make an unusual and interesting image and the shadows look very nice too. A fine photo of this jungle-like scene, Ed.

I bet kids would love to climb on the twisty big limbs of that tree. Better call the Park service and request a trail clean up Ed! I really do like the old tree

Ed - What a great tree with its moss covered twisted branches arching over the path. I wonder what the photo might look like if the lower and left portions were cropped out. Thad

My whole yard is muck due to the thawing snow plus the fog & rain I've been getting every day this week. Excellent capture Ed ... I can see why this scene caught your eye. Love the shadow play the tree is creating on the path.

Hey Ed, saw this in the VB and gave it high marks!! Love how the tree overhangs and 'frames' the whole image here. Nice picture Ed!!!!
