Hairy Dog that is. Gizmo is hot on the tail of the Tortoise but the Tortise is still in the lead. Now there coming in to turn 2 and the Tortise is still inching ahead. The winner is the Tortoise. Better luck next time Gizmo. Actually I was taking a break after mowing the lawn when I spotted Gizmo running around with her nose on the ground. I got up to check out what she found and this is what I saw. >> Thanks to all for comments <<

You better start feeding Gizmo Wheaties for Dogs, Ed. If he can't keep up with one of those slow little critters, he needs to go into training. Cute shot. I like the light and shadows, and the colors.

Dogs are very good spotter's ... thanks to their wonderful sensitive noses. A cute capture of the tortoise & Gizmo. I like the dappled lighting you captured here too. Very well done Ed.

Hope Gizmo didn't harm the tortoise, Ed. Tortoise may be a better runner than Gizmo but still no match when it comes to rough and tumble! Nice shot of the two.

Gizmo on the half shell Huck. I think Gizmo keeps boosting it along with his nose. Gizmo is training him for the upcoming race with the Hare come the 4th of July.
