Panoramic view of the sunset at Sea Point, Cape Town where I live. I had to crop the shot to conform to wallpaper dimensions - original is wider and without black frame
WOW!
The colours are awesome, and I really love the panoramic view... The only thing I could give as critism, would be a higher resolution. But, the shot... EXCELLENT!
10/10 !
I agree, but it was a spur of the moment thing and my camera memory was pretty full so I had to keep it low. Next time though.....!
Thanks for comments!
Possibly - this is the first time I've tried panorama shots with photo stitching etc - the program I used tried it's best to match the lighting levels of each of the shots, but my camera had obviously maximised each one to a different level, and it all proved too much for the software...
what software did you use for the stitching, whats the resolution of the image without the black matting, how many photos were stitched? 20 questions lol :p
Kalen, this is beautiful! Bring it to Photoshop and burn and dodge the different exposure levels...it will clean it right up. May take some time;-) Nice work as is.
Daryl, I would but am a poor student at the moment and can't afford Photoshop! So am reduced to running shareware and trial software.... I might try and rework it in Gimp in Linux t some stage - I was really just testing the water as I've never done panorama/stitches before
noobguy - stitching software is called PTgui and I haven't tried any others - posiibly they won't bend the horizon...
