I like the almost synthetic look of this one. Reminds me of games and sci-fi movies. The only retouches I did was to crop it and level it, however. The subject is a lit quartz lamp, taken at a high (1/4000 s) shutter speed. Hope you guys like it.

I expected it to be a saxophone or musical instrument of some sort! Very interesting! I like!

In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

Thanks :)
Actually the lighting itself is anything but subdued... That's a 500W lamp going at full blast :)

Very nice overall. 1/4000, eh? I guess your equipment beats mine by some lengths... ^_^ Good for you. ;) More importent then having a good camera. You put it to good, creative use. I love to see subjects presented in "new light" so to speak. No pun intended... Well. Just a little one, I guess the joke was just too bad to take credit for. o_O :p What I like the most here is the interaction between the different shapes and lines in the textures seen in the contrast between the almost organic shapes on the sides of the cold and hard lines of the lamp. Kudos.
