I was in Vermont for the winter i had just arrived after the ice storm and the trees were covered in ice and i decided to trek out in the cold with my little kodak.

Certainly an interesting photo. It seems to beg for a brighter sky though, which would have made it more lively. I like the composition with the branch on the left leaning left, the branch on the right leaning right, and the center branch working its way up the middle.

I like how you have brought out the texture int he branches, really eye catching. I agree that a brighter sky would really add to the image, but what can you do eh? If there was a colourful berry or something contrasting (especially with colour) it would really create a focal point in the image. The detail is interesting, but I feel like there is not enough of a focal point.
