It is a joy to view your winter shots, and to see them in the middle of a long hot summer would be just fine with me. I am always looking for ways to cool off when it is in the 90s! I love the details and contrasts in this, Rita. Your editing is perfect. It will probably spend some time on my desktop...like a few days!

Ya think so? I thought that it was the end of snow in our area - but no - 6" forecasted - yuck!!! You image is absolutely beautiful. I love the texture of the snow and the shadows as well as the composition. Excellent!!!

This is wonderful Rita! The beauty of the trees are enhanced with the soft snow blanketing the forest floor. I like the mood and the lovely capture of shadows coming to greet me.

Fantastic winter shot and composition, really like all the shadows and roughness of the snow. Just wish I could say that, we still have lots.
