I took this photo of the front of the gardens on the balcony at Rosedown Plantation. The story about this garden with this design is that the lady of the planation saw a home in Europe like this and fell in love with it, and so she decided to have it at Rosedown also. The pictures don't really do it justice.

Nancy, I like this. It's a beautiful place and I like how the path leads you through the trees. I can imagine walking through there. In fact, I need to take a drive up there. It's been awhile since I've been to St Francisville. Very nice.
