Simply a decoration in my family's kitchen window; it caught my eye and I thought it would make a nice subject. Is the bright spot on the right distracting? I would appreciate all critiques and suggestions to improve my photography and photo editing. Thanks for looking!

Actually, I didn't even notice the bright spot until you said something. But now that you mention it, if you could outline it, and tone it down, or airbrush it out, it might help the picture along a bit.

But honestly, this is an awesome picture! When I first saw it I thought it was a computer generated image with how bright and vibrant the colors were, and how crisp and clean the image is. Very very very very nice! Then again, the bright spot does add just a bit of something extra, kind of a contrast, almost as if there was a brilliant glint of sun just off the corner. You could keep it. Awesome image either way. I love it!

Caiden.

P.S. If you get the chance, take a look at my gallery. Any comments, or criticisms, or advice would be welcome. God bless, and have a great day!

Hi Naomi,
I suggest playing around in an editing program as Caiden said,
Or you could retake the picture and move the object a bit to the right,
To improve it even more, you could move the lightsource (or another lightsource) to right behind the object so that it shines through and creates a bright spot in there,
Apart from that, very well done, I like the subject and its colors,

Thanks for sharing

Very interesting! I think changing the angle to add the sun to a prominent location in the shot would be very nice. I also didn't notice the sun until reading the discription. Thanks for sharing.

I don't believe I could say anything that has not been said all ready. The main thing is to enjoy what your doing.
