I just finished reading your profile, and I noticed that you are from South Africa. I've been reading Wilbur Smith's accounts of adventures on the African continent, and the thought occurred to me that it would be nice to know where this scene was taken. It sounds like it contains a lot of breathtaking views, such as the one you've given us here. It's so soft in its presentment, that it almost feels like a painting. I can see why it's drawn you in. I like your composition with the three sets of mountains (left, right and background) playing off each other while they, at the same time, create a DOF that is also aided by the light and dark heavy cloud cover. As to clarity, as I noted before, there is a soft quality to this, and the lighting, indirect as it is, may have something to do with this, but the clarity, while not crystal clear, is sufficient to convey the beauty you've found. :)PJ
