Hello June, Maria, Darryl and Evelyn. Thanks for the nice comments. I appreciate it very much. It is an orchid, Darryl. This one is a relatively rare species from highland named Dendrobium.

Awesome contrast and composition. The black/white contrasts are nice, with some pink leaking into the edges. Very beautiful, nice job. :D

They are beautiful, very sharp and clear and nicely composed too. Well done. Are they from the Cameron Highlands?

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

They were originated from CH but this shot was actually taken from grandpa's garden. He has a big collection of orchid from different species. I spent most of the time during weekends wandering about in his garden looking for in bloom flowers. :)) Thanks for the wonderful comment Robert. :)

The lighting gives a lovely texture on the petals as well as showing up the beautiful delicate colours. Great shot :-)
