If I hold one more motherless child.
If I see one more home destroyed.
If I see one more child holding a gun.
If I hear one more story of everything lost.
If I see one more shrapnel-scarred tree.
If I hold the hand of one more mother still searching for her child.
If I wipe away one more tear of a child whose father won’t come home.
If I hear one more wistful remembrance of the time before.
If I pass one more grave.
If I see one more empty kilometer without a child.
If I hear one more horrific statistic of loss.
If I see one more kilometer of razor wire.
I think I will burst.
Wow, not enough comments of praise here yet. I think that's a pretty amazing photo, that's one sky I haven't seen before. Where did you find a sky like that anyway?
Yea, I've had this in my favs for a little while now but for some reason never commented. I'm a huge fan of rain and rainy skies and this takes my breath away. It's so unbelievable. Fantastic shot, thank you so much for sharing it with us.
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
