This is one of my favorite images that I took when I was in Italy. This little cottage was right off the road near a vineyard that I visited. Hope you like the shot :)

I do like this cottage! I bet it isn't all that old...because the incomplete plaster exposing the bricks looks deliberate to me. Almost as if it is a fashion in the area. I would like to see the entire house, but this way is more intimate. I am guessing that the flower boxes reinforce the general shape of the house, and that there is little rain in the area (judging from the tiny roof over the side door). This is a good picture showing a way of country life. Thanks. It's on my desktop now.

I can see why this cottage caught your eye. A lot of textural difference and repetive shapes and angles. Very nice image!
