I too faved this Nigel. It's really great in a spooky sort of way. Somehow I feel like Sherlock Holmes is running about in the moors looking at this beautiful sight. The relections on the water is to die for. Just an awesome post my dear Watson.

Nigel, you have taken us on a wine tour. It is a fine merlot, a lush burgundy, it is a gentle rose. I need some cheese and bread to go with this lush photo!
this is definitely proof and what I like most is that you cannot even see the sunset, but just it's colour reflection in the water - very artistic Nigel - love this one!

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
A well-spotted opportunity here! The graduation of colour from rose to mauve is stunning and the dark islets complement it very well. The showstopper is that series of clumps of rushes - excellent composition.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
This work is beautiful..really wonderful. Faved and saved.
