I spent a morning on the beach in Cha Am watching and photographing small fishing boats coming in with their catch. The boats were met by women who would carry the full nets back on poles to sort the catch and mend any holes. Sadly a lot of what was in the nets was coral. The strange coloured sky was apparently due to a fog that hung high in the atmosphere the whole time we were there. The sky was clear but a whitish grey rather than blue and it sometimes made photographing a challenge.

Are the boats remote controlled? I like the sheen the sky gives the whole photo. It's different. Good photo about a way of life. Narrative is really good as well. Very nice Nigel.

I love boat pictures, and this one is very interesting, mainly because I don't get to see boats in Thailand. I actually like the color of the sky. It's different than what is usually in pictures. Great colors here, Nigel. Very nice shot. I also like the informative comentary.

What an interesting shot Nigel! It must have been intriguing to sit and watch the fishermen - such a different World!! ...and what a great experience! Well done on capturing their activities - a picture with a story! You've got to love that boat!

Great image Nigel. I like the colour of the sky I think it gives the picture an 'Other Worldly' feel. Wonderful detail of the woman and the boat.
