Beautiful landscape, Nigel. And at least there was enough light in the skies to give you detail in the trees and wonderful reflections. Clear blue skies are not always the best for shooting.
A well balanced capture. The eye travels from the f/g grasses to the left bank and beyond effortlessly. I too agree about the powerlines, but not a huge distraction to this tranquil scene.
This would make a wonderful painting and I agree with Alexis, sunny blue skies are not always the best thing...much more moody and of interest when there is some clouds overhead...as for the power lines I barely noticed them but I can appreciate your leaving them in...I hate cloning, lol...wonderful shot, Nigel.
Great scene Sir Nigel and I love the sky. It is awesome. The angle with the bend is perfect. Hard to type with that bug crawling all over the place. I've smacked my screen numerous times. The reflections are just super. I like you style of only posting something great. Good work.
I see the 'Sir Nigel' stuck lol! ...that's what comes from putting yourself in such an honorary position as chief organiser of the Caedes get-together! lol ;) ....and well this shot is just beautiful Nigel - the colours are really natural and the water is like a mirror - love the curves and movement in the image!

i really like this one, the colours are lovely soft and very english, the reflection is nice, the power lines dont bother me that much i have to say because its such a lovely scene. good job sir! lol
A beautiful picture Nigel. The reflections are wonderful. It has a very English feel to it and that includes the power lines, which I'm glad you left in.

You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
Been absent here for a while. I'm a latecomer to this lovely piece of work. Simply a marvelous scene composed to perfection. Of course, thanks to "OWD BOB" mentioning the power lines which at first glance escaped my attention while immersed in the image, I now have something to find fault with. LOL Pay no attention to us doddering senior citizens. It's a wonderful posting.
Beautiful Color and Reflections in this piece.
Thanks for sharing Lee Valley.
