This van is in my brother's yard in Worcestershire. It reminds me of my Caedes page. Neglected but still there. Thanks to all my friends for bearing with me this summer.
Good to see you back, Sir Nigel. And, I am glad to see that you have been able to get yourself a new car. At least, new for you! lol. It has a plate on it and I bet it gets great gas milage. After all, it is a "Green" car and we all know what that means in today's world.
Dear Nigel I already wrote my thoughts and today I can tell that you've got a special ability to make any photo under a new and more interesting new perspective.
This is the fine art you have inside your heart, and this is what I personally admired in all of your creations.

Now I was expecting to see a pristine old classic car so I could say, " I had or my Dad had one of those." I wasn't expecting this. All I will say is what an AA man said to me many years ago whilst patting the hole in the front wing of my 1959 Ford Anglia, " The newness is wearing off, isn't it?"
A perfect car to take out for a joy ride ha ha. Hope you had a great summer and I can't wait to see more of your photo. Really do like this photo! Great job.
That's a mighty fine looking vehicle, and should be on the road, and not in a yard. If I owned that purdy thing, I'd be the talk of the trailer park. Everybody would be envious.
* Owing to the deterioration in my hands, I find that I cannot comment as much as I should..But please know...I do look at all your posts!..and will leave my 'moniker' >OB< when I do so!...Thank you all *

Never underestimate the powers of a Bedford in making a comeback folks! These old workhorses just don't die. Nice shot there Nigel. Take your time getting back too: life's no race my friend. As long as you're still growing, it's all good. Take care my man: Ricky.
Love the coloring of the van, that billious green suits this derelict well. Hope you have not been suffering the same shade, LOL. Autumn is almost upon us, hope to soon be seeing some of your landscapes shot with your new equipment.
Haha this is great Nigel. No worries about the lack of presence on here. I have been absent as well. I like this. The colors especially pop. Thanks for sharing.
Nice shot. Full of texture. Almost makes the image tactile. A great mix of surfaces and colours. The green parts of the van have been captured particularly well. Good saturation.

Hmmm I guess somehow I missed this grand shot! Love the old cluncker photos and this one is fantastic. Talk about give a lonely feeling, I think the grasses in the foreground just do it perfectly. Love the feel of the colours and the dirt on the window that looks like it's been baked on from the years of
just "sittin' and gettin' old" A wonderful shot Nigel. Verena
