I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
Obviously a very strong sky and I spent some time thinking about why you kept the viewpoint low on the water. But after looking awhile, it was obvious: the water has about a million subtle shades of color and form and light. These come from the sky and mountains, but really have an existence of their own....and I think they're a much better picture than even that strong sky would have been. Great job on the exposure by the way...not at all easy to get it right in this situation.
Nathan - I liked the way my eye was drawn into the scene. I downloaded the image and cropped the water at the first dark blue band coming from the right. It made a very interesting narrow panorama shot. Nice to have a photo with that kind potential for other scenes within the shot. Well done.
