I talked with Russ Heidlerr, and he's given me permission to use his "Daffodil" photo in conjunction with this desktop I've created. It makes a pleasant desktop wallpaper. Hope you enjoy it. Let us know what you think. Some of you asked for a reversed version. Here's a customization with an April 2005 calendar included. Here's a customization with a blue background.

This is a great wallpaper image Nathan. How about doing one that is flipped with the image on the right so the icons can be on the left by default. Very well done and a 10/favorites from me. Thanks for using my image for this.

lovely framing idea for the shot and makes a very tranquil desktop image - lots of scope for user customisation as well I guess. well done.

Annie and I invite you to visit our website. Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art. It is a solar phenomenon, where the artist collaborates with the sun. deLamartine 1855

Wonderful job. Looks very good on the desk top, but I do agree on flipping it. Keep it up.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. As for user customization - I had been pondering about putting an April 2005 calendar on it, too, but decided not to post that version. You can get that one Here.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

I like this image a lot, however, the brown background isn't my cup of tea! Perhaps it shold be a lighter brown, I don't know, but it still gets a 10!

Thanks for your comment, Dave. For those of you who'd rather do blue than maroon, I've created one for you. The link is above in the description.

Would have been an excellent item for a wallpaper as is if the flower was placed at the right side. I guess I could make do by flipping the photo horizontally so that the icons will not cover the flower. Great photo at its best.
