Joel Hanger (Delusionist) has kindly let me use one of his gorgeous skyscapes in this collaboration piece. His Arizona sky photos are phenomenal. About this piece: Have you ever been inside wishing you could escape outside? Very appropriate for a computer desktop sometimes? There's something in our spirits which yearn to fly high and be free - free to soar among the clouds. I've purposely manipulated the perspective to make the image flat - such as the brickwork all being in straight lines - to bring the sky closer to the viewer. The gem represents our soaring spirits escaping into the cloudscape. Please leave a comment and let us know what you think of this.

I think I like this. Certainly the backdrop is gorgeous. I don't like the brickwork which I guess is part of the point you're making, but it makes me feel trapped inside - all the other spirits may be soaring towards a beautiful jewel- planet, but _I'm_ stuck on the wrong side of a brick barrier!

Fascinating, though.
