This is why I give you a 10 (and wish the score could go higher):
First glance: beautiful. I didn't have to try to see any beauty because I was instantly attracted -- even by the thumbnail.
Second (long, lingering) glance: the beautiful integration of what should be unlikely elements: the large deep sphere; the shallow, graceful lines; the pitch black "tears" and "holes" ....
all brought together with a narrow band of gold "metal" and a rich iridescent blue.
I like the sweeping, wing-like quality of the fragile lines and the two tiny, tiny sparkles on the sphere (like an intense but small secondary light source.. or perhaps something within the sphere).
I wish this were a piece of jewelry ... and that I owned it!
