It seems strange to me that Russell Lupins would be unknown to anyone - as they grow wild everywhere here in New Zealand and are classed as a weed as they invade our braided river beds changing the gravel floor, making it unsuitable for wading birds to nest on, and also take over from other more desirable river plants. I bet you did not really want to know all that lol ! .
However, they are one of my favourite flowers, especially these lovely purple/blue ones. You captured them beautifully, with their array of colour tones and delicate water drops. Today it is on my desktop to remind me of Spring which seems very far away.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
