I've looked at your fine gallery and I know that you usually post pics of "real" things. I like it that you are pushing yourself outside the box and trying this new filter and whatever else you did to create this most pleasing of views. I don't understand the c index on this, but nevermind that. We can't live by the c index alone on here. There will be those who do and those who don't like our work, but the point is to please our own tastes and make it worth our while to look at it and then display it, because there will be those around who enjoy what you have created *raising my hand* and then there will be the others. Don't stop experimenting. You're doing fine in my humble opinion and in my view :)PJ

This is a very interesting effect and I think it adds to the feel of the photo. Nice job and good for you for experimenting with your work.

I love the texture. Very cool. I would crop a little bit off the left side before the building, but still very good.

I don't know what sort of filter or combination of filters you used, but it brought life to an otherwise common street scene. I'm not sure about that streaky bit to the right, but the rest of the image really benefits from the manipulation.

We make a living by what we get; but we make a life by what we give.
