I haven't seen much your work in quite awhile, and being that I really like your style I missed your submissions. This is a nice representation for what the winters are like up north. Faved.

There are several things that I really like about this.
I am impressed with the translucence that you achieved using oil paint, in the sky and water reflections. On the other end of the spectrum, I love your thick, textured application of paint for the snow (One of my favorite things about oil paint is its delicious ability to be 3D on a canvas).
I like the realistic undulation and streaking that you created in the aurora, the reflections in the water, and the shading/shadowing that you did on the edge of the riverbank.

Brilliant painting and scene, love the northern lights and their splendid colours and patterns. We see them here and so wonderful watching them dance in the sky
