For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, His eternal power and Godhead;... Rom 1:20
I was asked to give a comment on this pic. Here's an amateur's honest opinion.
The subject, a white heron, is depicted in a garden-like setting with some grass in foreground and some plants in the background. The bird is not fully shown and one is impressed mostly with the long neck and the beak. The colours are good. The lighting is generally ok but is excessive on the heron's head and neck (too much reflection and glare). The framing is not ideal and, especially, the position of the bird in the crowded background is not satisfactory. The focus is mainly on the plant in background, not on the bird. It looks as if the photographer meant to shoot the plant and then, all of a sudden, the heron jumped in. Despite the shortcomings, the overall effect of the picture is a good one: somehow the pic attracts your attention and is pleasing to the eyes. All in all, I'd give it a green light (for the pleasing, attractive effect), an amber one (for the lighting and colours) and a red one (for the framing and focus).
92 percent American teens would die if Abecrombie and Fitch told them it uncool to breathe. Would you be in the 8 percent laughing their asses off at the others?
hey, nice picture. the bird makes an interesting subject. its unfortunate that the bird is a bit blurry and lacking detail though. altogether the picture looks a bit rushed.
