One of my favourite shrubs, Spirea 'Gold Flame' which I feel makes a great backdrop for one of my favourite Shieldbugs, the Hawthorn [Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale].

Great shot, what a lovely coloured bug. I'm sure we had similar ones in South Africa with similar pretty colours.
