After being blown away by Kristof's successful results from his High Key experiments, I thought I'd have a go myself. Not sure if the colours chosen are pale enough and without a minipod it's difficult to get a large DOF. That said I'm reasonably happy with the end result. Please let me know what you think?

I think the pink and the red fit perfect together and it was a real great idea to use some water. Fantastic job. Goes into my favs.

I'm not too fond of the background colour, as I think the pink would show up better against a gray or neutral colour better? The focus seems a little soft too. Sorry to be negative with such a beautiful flower.

Reasonably happy, are you? You're WAY off base! You should be extraordinarily happy with this! I am, anyway. I doubt you got the effect you were after, but what you have gotten is superb, with rich colors and pleasing shapes adorned with sparky water droplets. I love it.

This caught my eye, but the more I look at it, the more I notice a subtle sexual undertone. I think that the color has a lot to do with it...or it may be that with the moist petals. I'm not trying to sound perverted, that's just what I see. It's very good if it was intentional.
