This is called Bell Rock, it's in Sedona Arizona.
This was my morning view when I woke up were I stayed. You can hike all the way to the top, if you wanted to.
Fine shot it is too. Those formations at the top look almost like old Egyptian statues that were never quite finished. Either that or the rock was not hard enough and the years have weathered away most of the detail work. Neat capture.

I'm always interested in pictures from the desert... the sky and the red rock always seem too vivid to be true, to sharp to be true...but I have been there and I have photographed in the area and I know they are true. So what must be captured, in addition to the subject, is the atmosphere. Perhaps it has significantly less moisture in it. Great pic, thanks!
