When I was at the beach I saw a few men Surf Fishing, this guy liked having his photo taken. If you can see in the background there are tubes holding the fishing pole. Now all you have to do is watch the tip of the pole to see if you get a bite. I talked to the man for a few minutes and asked if he got anything, he said "Not today, but yesterday I got a 15 pound blue fish" Was it a fish tail.....we will never know. This is the first time I used Gimp, I even made a frame for the first time. I always welcome comments.

Very lovely picture of the man and sea,Laura, the waves are nice, very pleasant blue colors, nice frame too.The horizon is a bit tilted to the right but you can easily fix it by using Picasa or Photofiltre or some other programs.Perhaps you already have a program that can fix a tilted horizon.

Nice capture of a great recreation! I've been surf fishing and it can be exciting when you get a bite. The waves pull on the lines so much that your wrists get tired of holding on, hence the "tubes".

Your frame matches perfectly on this shot. He looks like he is having a good time...fishing and posing for you. The water and the sky look great, as does the rest of the picture. Nice work, Laura.

A very good action shot Laura. Anytime you can get out of bed and go fishing, a smile is deserved. Great capture and the colors are outstanding. I use the Gump program. "Stupid is, as stupid does." lol Great post work on this one.

Honor those who gave all this Memorial Day Weekend.

What a great sport he was! Excellent comp along the shoreline. Those blues sparkle in the wet sand.
