This is the beach that I spent my summers and weekends at. My father lived just down the block, and this is a private beach for the people who live there. This is on the North side of Long Island and on a clear day (it wasn't this day) you could see across over to Connecticut. Behind me is were we would put our boat in the water and we would go fishing almost every day. My father also had lobster pots here too. I love to fish, but I don't eat any kind of fish.

Beautiful beach. Lucky to have such a wonderful place to "get away". Thanks for bringing back some fond memories.

That's a gorgeous looking beach. I like the sky, and the reflection of the sun on the water. Very nice picture, Laura.

This one needs to go full screen to really appreciate what the sun is doing with the water, especially on the horizon. Thanks for setting the scene for us, beyond what the camera shows, as well!

The girl on the beach really puts everything in perspective Laura. What fond memories you have and thanks for sharing this one with us. I can feel the warmth through the screen.

Great post.
