This was taken at a street fair, and as you can see this girl has a painting that she did propped up as a guide for her chalk drawing on the street. She was working hard and just took a minute to stop and look at her own work, and I love the little smile, she was probably saying to herself "Yea, I'm happy about how this is coming out" Right after that she was back to work to finish her lovely piece. It was such a quick timing shot, I had to clone two people out of the shot, I hope you didn't see it, until now. It took me a lot of time to clone them out, I'm still learning how to do these kind of thing.

You need a lot of patience to do something like that. Very nice shot of the artist and her work. That is so cool.

Very nice composition and your cloning helped, no trace of it that I can see. I'd try to get rid of the leg at upper right if possible.

A nice shot of the girl doing her street chalk drawing Laura. A good job on the cloning. Hope you got a shot of the completed artwork.

Nice capture of the artist in her element. Almost can read her thoughts.

Nice photo Laura! I've seen something like this when I lived in Santa Cruz. Different technique but street art. An artist (you) capturing and artist! I like her drawing! Thank you! Allen
