Ok, bird people I need your help, I know that I have a pair of Terns here, but I'm not sure what kind. I tried to google them but I'm just not sure. It could be Forster's Tern, or maybe just Common Terns, or maybe something all together different. Help if you can. I found the pair of these Terns looking into the water for food. I have never seen this bird before today, and they sound real cute too.

There are Yourterns and Myterns, but these may be Histerns or Herterns. LOL. OK...that's enough craziness from me...it's your turn. He he. Nice shot of whatever kind they are.

Maybe they are comic terns. One's the comedian and the other's the straight bird! The Abbott and Costello of the bird world.

Lovely image of these two pretty birds.

Laura, these Terns are Common Terns,it is called "Sterne Pierregarin" or "Estorlet" or "Hirondelle de mer" in French. The photo is very lovely, the colors are pleasant as well.

Sorry, I know nothing about birds, although I love them very much. But you don't have to know them so you could love them. And they are really pretty. Great shot and nice title, too. :))

They are Gumpterns Laura. You got your birds and your terns. It is only natural this would pop up.
Nice post.

Yes the closest match I can make is a Forster's Tern.

I really enjoy your Terns! I especially like the contrasts of color and textures on your pier, water and beach. Very nice!
