This was taken when I went to the Planting Fields Arboretum. At the time this shot was taken, it was raining so hard, my daughter and I were under a roofed porch, I look up and this is what I saw. I just couldn't believe it was raining so hard. We got about 2 inches of rain that day, and a lot of roads were closed due to floods.

Very nice and pleasant sky,very lovely photo,Laura.There has been a thunderstorm here today,the weather was nice once in a while otherwise it rained.

Very nice sky capture...Loving the rays coming through. We always called that "The devil beating his wife" (Rains while the sun is shining). Still a wonderful sky.

Sounds a lot like my afternoon ride into work, Laura! Had to pull the car over, it was raining so hard. Beautiful piece of blue sky. Seems like we get rain almost every single day. Thought I read somewhere that NE was going to become tropical. No joke.
