Hello to all my friends! I'm back from Cape May, and as you can see, it was wet and raining there too....I didn't get many photos, due to my daughters schedule and weather. I like this shot, nice bright colors on a very gray day. If you open this shot up full, you will see a woman sitting all by herself near the shoreline. (in front of the boat) She looks deep in thought. Oh thanks to everyone that wished my daughter good luck! It worked, they won big time, taking first in all there dances! I can't wait to see all of your photos I have 204 to look at!

Welcome back, Laura, and congratulations to your daughter. Your image is really colorful as you said and that nicely contrasts with the heavy clouds and monotonous beige sand. I wonder if it was warm since the lady, who seems to be writing in the sand, doesn't appear to be cold.

I agree, I think the gray skies make those colors stand out even more. Great summer atmosphere, warmer temps bring the storms.

Nice photo, the beach is beautiful. It's hot here and I don't mind so see a bit of a cloudy sky.

I like how the lifeguard's perch seems to be in the boat. Not often you see a boat with wheels. I am very glad to hear your daughter was so successful. How proud you must be.

Good photo and it is interesting the guard looks cold and the girl on the beach is hot. Did that sound bad? lol

The bikini and the windbreaker. It looks cold to me, but since this is on the East Coast, that wind is warmer than it is in the Northwest! Something different in a beach shot... :)
