I really like the set up of the table and how the window reflects on it. But, I don't like, what seems to be the top of a chair, in the right side of the picture. Besides that the set up is neat, Nice Job.
Nice approach to an stylish shot. My instant first impressions/criticisms were the chair arm? (that triangle sticking up by the chair) needs to go and I'm not sure about the houses in the background through the window. What kind of image are you going for...? I think it could be minimal three or four elements image - the table, the flowers, the chair, the window. No other lines, marks or discontinuities. The light levels don't do it justice. Needs more light to assist the camera, which looks like it's struggling with the colours and saturation. If the only light source is in front of the camera (window) it will be hard to balance the levels. Another source off-centre and across the table would be good to try, but will change the atmosphere considerably. The options are infinite. I'm not sure this is the best catagory (photography/flower) for this picture, because the flower is definitely only a part of the composition, with how you have arranged it for this shot. It might do better under....erh! not sure which.... Happy snapping.....! :-)
Well, I think I agree about the little triangle sticking up by the chair because it does nothing to improve the scene and you can't really tell what it is. I like the house seen through the window because it grounds the image to the idea that this scene is in someone's neighborhood. If anything at all, I think I would try a slightly different crop, which you may have already considered. I like the lighting because it comes only from the window. I like this mostly for it's point of view.
Like the idea of the table, but it is a pity that the top of the chair is on it and the dark wall, just cropp the picture and it will look better:))
Like the light play of the window!!
