My last hollidays in Algarve. A great exposition made with sand. The Sidney Opera House is the most recognisable symbol of Australia, and is also considered one of the greatest engineering and architectural works ever made. Open in 1973, it took 14 years to be achieved due to the several technical challenges the plan presented. Is this true my australian friends?

Excellent from every aspects. Art work both from you and its creator. Not a usual shot...I'm sure.

That's a wow from me, both to the sculptor and to you for making such a great photo of it. The colours are great and I like the viewpoint a lot too. Faved.

Great (and correct, as far as I know) info and one truly fabulous image. Your perspective and composition are wonderful. I love how the sculpture shows that the design of the building is meant to reflect the sails of the ships in the harbour. You have both done a great job:)

THis is obviously a sand sculpture? How absolutely beautiful! I had never realized the sailboats and waves...is that actually on the real building also? I've never seen a closeup of it before. And this sculpture is just fantastic. I would love to know more about the sand sculpting contest. Is there a way to find out? Thank you for such a gorgeous shot..Verena
