Among the country's finest examples of Victorian architecture, this grand dame prides herself on old-world service combined with modern conveniencesMany famous guests have stayed at the Del including President Benjamin Harrison in 1891 and every U.S. President since Lyndon Johnson. The movie 'Some like it hot' starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis was filmed at the Hotel del Coronado in 1958 and many Hollywood stars such as Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, and Marilyn Monroe frequented the hotel.And i was there in 2002!!!...

Look at all those angles on the roof! It stands out brilliantly with all the whites and reds against the blue sky. I bet the beds are comfy too!
