Such lovely boughs amidst the brown ferns. Once flora leaves and another takes its place. They are very pretty.

I'm trying to think what this is in English. I think it's gorse as Jan said. I love this stuff, it covers whole hillsides in some places here and it's always like a ray of sunshine.
