I always think red is a difficult colour to capture sharply, but you have done a superb job of it here. Coupled with the dark background this has turned into a stunningly beautiful shot and also a good DT. Fav'd and thank you for sharing!

Super posting and shot you have set a clear example here of how it should be photographed. I see a lot of nice flower images here at caedes, but mostley the picture taker forgets the background. They are often so ugly, that you forget to look at the flower itself. Here the flower realy pops out of my screen, straight into my face.
